“Valuable” was part of a collection I created last year for a weekend event at an art gallery in Brooklyn inspired by the book “The Garden Within” by Dr. Anita Phillips. This collection was focused on the importance of our emotions and on cultivating our hearts. “Valuable” is a reminder that we are valuable just because we exist and nothing can add or take away from our value as human beings. It is also a reminder to plant this seed in your heart and continue to water it so the believe that you are valuable grows into a strong tree that can sustain you during challenging times. Make sure next time you look at yourself in the mirror you tell yourself “I am valuable.”
This piece measures 16.5” x 4”. It was carved by hand on wood then decorated and finished with resin. It has two sawtooth hangers in the back to easily put on your wall.
