Wooden Cross Wall Art
This colorful wooden cross is the biggest piece I have ever created. It measures 11” x 27” and it was hand carved, painted, and then sealed with resin. When I began this cross I was inspired by a much smaller cross my mom bought to decorate the home. I wanted it to have flowers because I love how they represent growth and the journey of cultivating that is also part of our faith. Later on, this cross became part of my 2024 collection inspired by the book “The Garden Within” by Dr. Anita Phillips where she combines theology and psychology to speak about mental and emotional health. This cross became the centerpiece of the entire collection reminding us of the theology and the God which is at the center of our creation. The cross has two sawtooth hangers in the back for easy hanging and decorating. I hope you love it as much as I do!
